Tom Clancys HAWX A new air combat game set in the near future when a private military force attacks the U.S. using technologically advanced jet fighters.Developed by Ubisoft's Bucharest studio, Tom Clancy's HAWX delivers an intense and authentic aerial combat experience by fully leveraging the benefits of the next-generation platforms. The story begins in the year 2012. As the era of the nation-state draws quickly to a close, the rules of warfare evolve even more rapidly. More and more nations become increasingly dependent on private military companies (PMCs), elite mercenaries with a lax view of the law. The Reykjavik Accords further legitimize their existence by authorizing their right to serve in every aspect of military operations. While the benefits of such PMCs are apparent, growing concerns surrounding giving them too much power begin to mount.

ENHANCED REALITY SYSTEM (E.R.S.) - E.R.S. is in-game technology that helps turn novice aviators into elite pilots of the future. The Enhanced Reality System is the backbone of the HAWX flight experience: radars and incoming missile detection, anti-crash system, damage control system, tactical map and information relay, and weapons trajectory control. E.R.S. also allows players to issue orders to their squadron, making this system as iconic to HAWX as the Cross-Com system is to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
ASSISTANCE MODE – Players can ease into their flight missions and gain a level of comfort with the use of the assistance mode. Once employed, players can take full advantage of their technological support through the E.R.S and gain maximum piloting security. If the situation calls for the player to unleash the full potential of the aircraft, the assistance mode can be switched off and all safety features will be deactivated. This comes with increased risks, but allows the player advanced dogfighting maneuvers and stunning third-person views.
REVOLUTIONARY MULTIPLAYER - For the first time ever in the air-combat genre, players will be able to experience the entire solo campaign in four-player JUMP IN co-op mode. In PVP mode, players can challenge up to 15 friends in intense dogfighting sessions and find out who's the top gun. Winning players are rewarded with experience points and money to unlock more weapons.
REALISM AND AUTHENTICITY – Players have the opportunity to take the throttle of over 50 of the world's most famous aircrafts, as well as being able to dogfight over realistic modern landscapes that have endured years of post-war trauma.

The fans of adventure games, both veterans and novices, will enjoy both the innovations and the traditional style of this new game, which, promises to be very amusing and extremely spectacular.


We are giving up the childish look of the characters and the caricatured humour of the previous games, and instead we are accentuating the bitterness and hardness of expressions and actions. In this episode, Fenimore Fillmore and Rhiannon are galloping through the Far-West and find a wounded man. Fenimore leaves to get some water while Rhiannon keeps watch and tends to the man’s wounds. The mysterious man regains consciousness and tells her that there is a hidden secret treasure in a cemetery. In a last breath of life, he reveals to her its exact location. During this time three men approach. They attack Fenimore and Rhiannon in order to know what the dead man revealed. They leave Fenimore for dead and kidnap Rhiannon. It is the beginning of an exciting treasure hunt…

Feel the need to blow something to bits? Volition's Red Faction: Guerrilla will undoubtedly satisfy that urge, because thanks to the studio's GeoMod 2.0 engine you can literally blast to bits any structure in the game. Plant and detonate remote charges or launch rockets into the bases of towers and you'll see them topple over, shattering in all the appropriate places and snapping as new stresses are introduced on the way down. If you missed out when the game was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this past June, the just released Windows version is the best bang for your buck. It's got the full game console players got to smash through online and off, as well as some additional single-player content, multiplayer maps, and modes.

In this article I'm just going to cover what's new to this specific version of the game, how it performs, and how it controls. First off, you should know Guerrilla is integrated with Games for Windows – Live, which means you'll need to connect through your Gamertag to head into the online modes and earn achievements. So far from what I checked out online the process of joining matches seems to be functioning fine, though it wasn't easy to find a game for some of the game types unlocked in multiplayer.
